Garage Pressure Crew
Garage Pressure was started in 1999 by DJs Farj & Paul Fraser to push underground garage music. Over the years through community radio and local events we pioneered underground garage, 2step and dubstep music in Australia.

Our self titled radio show and podcasts currently feature on Sydney Fbi94.5FM  every Friday night 9-11pm - broadcasting to a conservatively estimated audience of 60,000+ every week for over 5 years. Many thousands more subscribe to our RSS feed

For over a decade we have played at some of the biggest clubs in Australia and New Zealand. We toured leading DJs & Producers including: Zed Bias (2002 & 2008), Oris Jay (2002), Kode9 (2003 & 2006), Lombardo (2004 & 2005), Landslide (2005), Quiet Storm (2006), Skream (2006), Mala/Digital Mystikz (2007) Benga (2007), Pinch (2007) Caspa (2007), Vex'd (2007), DJ Distance (2008), DJ Ntype (2008), Loefah (2008), Cotti (2008), Tes La Rok (2008), Joker (2008) and Seven (2009) amongst others.

In 2002, our club night DarkSyde (Dark Sydney) was the first Breakstep & Dubstep night in Australia. In 2006 and 2007 we held Aquarium, a night dedicated to Dubstep and featured Kode9 and Skream.

In June 2009, after 10 years, we stopped DJing and Performing under the Garage Pressure brand which we now only associate with our radio show. Today we run and manage Australia's first and globally recognised dubstep record label Aquatic Lab.

Garage Pressure was the incubator for Moving Ninja , Australian producer Paul Jabanasam who has been turning heads in the uk with his own brand of atmospheric Dubstep. Moving Ninja has become a recognised name  with releases on Vertical Sound and the seminal Bristol label Tectonic.
